Alejandro Garnacho reacts as Manchester United exit confirmed

Alejandro Garnacho has reacted to Marcus Rashford leaving Manchester United for Aston Villa.

The Villans announced the signing of Rashford on loan until the end of the season on Sunday (2 February), with Fabrizio Romano reporting that they can make the move permanent for £40million in the summer.

With the England international’s spell at Old Trafford likely over, several Red Devils players took to social media to wish him luck and Garnacho was among those who chimed in.

“All the best Rash!”, Garnacho wrote as a comment under Rashford’s latest post on Instagram (2 February).

Marcus Rashford to kick-start career at Aston Villa

Rashford came through the ranks at Manchester United before establishing himself as a key player for the Premier League giants.

However, the 27-year-old fell out of favour after Ruben Amorim took the reins at Old Trafford in November, failing to make a single appearance since their 2-1 UEFA Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen on 12 December.

Once viewed as one of the best English talents around, it is evident that Rashford’s career has hit a snag in recent months, and perhaps years.

That is why the transfer to Aston Villa may have come at the right time for the right-footed forward.

At Villa, he has the opportunity to work under an astute and experienced tactician in Unai Emery, while also having the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League.

It is now up to Rashford to grab the opportunity with both his hands and potentially earn a permanent transfer to the Birmingham-based club at the end of the season.
