Jaden Philogene permanent Aston Villa exit on the cards as agent speaks out
Jaden Philogene could be set to leave Aston Villa permanently after his agent’s recent comments.
Philogene has been mooted to leave Unai Emery’s side after a recent loan development.
According to his agent Ivo Camacho, the 22-year-old would be interested in a move to Fenerbahçe SK, who have been in contact with the Villans over a potential loan deal. Speaking to SABAH Spor (29 December), Camacho said: “We haven’t received a direct official offer yet.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if there was any interest in this regard. Jaden, if there is a good offer, he will want to play for Fenerbahçe. He always has the goal of being in an ambitious team playing for the championship.”
And ex-Villa scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Villa News – wouldn’t be surprised if any potential move ended up being a permanent exit.
“I can’t see Philogene getting in the side with the options Villa have up front,” King said.
“Therefore, a permanent exit could be on the cards. However, there is also the option to leave on loan. I’m not sure about these comments from his agent. Ultimately, Villa will be the club that decides where Philogene goes.
“It will be about who Villa want to deal with. If it is to be a loan deal, Villa will pick a club that operate in a similar way to them.”
Jaden Philogene to quit Aston Villa in January?
Philogene has struggled since returning to Villa Park in the summer. The forward has struggled to make an impression under Unai Emery, starting just twice in the Premier League.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Philogene were to leave the club in January, especially on loan.
However, a permanent exit would be more surprising, especially considering the Englishman only re-signed for the club at the beginning of the season.
