Aston Villa share Audi sponsored summer announcement post as front-of-shirt deal looms
Aston Villa could land a sponsorship deal with Audi as the search for a front-of-shirt partner continues.
There are concerns at Villa Park that the new Premier League season could begin without a shirt sponsor after Betano departs.
A ban on betting sponsors in the top division will leave 11 sides in need of a new deal, and the Villans are feeling that as much as anyone else.
Klutch Sports Group, the agency for NBA star LeBron James, have been brought in to help seal a new deal for the Midlands outfit.
Audi could prove to be the new sponsor of Villa, especially after agreeing a pre-season deal to face Bayern Munich in Hong Kong.

Aston Villa announce pre-season friendly vs Bayern Munich
The claret and blue outfit have limited games remaining until the current campaign comes to an end.
There will be hope that Champions League qualification can be sealed and a potential Europa League title can be brought home to B6.

The current fixtures will eventually make way for a pre-season tour, which looks set to take Villa across the UK and also to Hong Kong.
A friendly with Rangers has been mooted at Ibrox, while a trip to East Asia to face Bayern Munich has now been announced.
Villa will face the Bundesliga giants on 7 August at the Kai Tak Stadium in their first trip to Hong Kong in 15 years.
The fixture has been mooted by the claret and blue outfit as “the inaugural Audi Football Summit fixture”, as the automobile manufacturer sponsors the clash.
Villa could earn millions from the Bayern Munich friendly, and it could also be the gateway to a front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Audi.
Aston Villa could seal Audi as front-of-shirt sponsor
There have been plenty of massive companies named as potential new sponsors in B6, with a deal yet to be agreed.
Betano posed a record deal for the Villans, and just two years later, they are in desperate need of a similarly positive agreement.
Audi could provide that as a company that is estimated to be worth £63.5billion, especially with this friendly now in place.

Bayern Munich have been sponsored by the manufacturer since 2002, so their inclusion in this summer clash makes sense.
For Villa to join them in Hong Kong, it would seem logical that they may also become a partner with Audi in some capacity.
With the B6 side looking for a front-of-shirt sponsor, they could take up the mantle from Betano at the end of the campaign.
