Why Morgan Rogers will be fuming with Premier League announcement ahead of Aston Villa vs Wolves
Morgan Rogers may face some distraction as Aston Villa prepare to face Wolves on Sunday.
Rogers was excellent against Young Boys in the mid-week Europa League clash and will be keen to carry that form forward.
The England international’s impact was felt as Villa secured a 2-1 win over Young Boys to maintain their excellent run of form across all competitions.
Villa now play host to Wolves in a Midlands clash at Villa Park, with the hope of making it five wins from five in claret and blue.
That may not be as easy as many supporters may expect against the Premier League’s bottom club, with Rogers bound to be frustrated ahead of kick-off.

Chris Kavanagh named as referee for Aston Villa vs Wolves
Rogers scored a Gareth Bale-esque goal against Leeds in his last league outing, as his superb performance level continues scoring.
He grabbed a brace at Elland Road, scoring with 100 per cent of his second-half efforts, while completing four dribbles and also contributing defensively with five duel wins and six recoveries.
The attacking midfielder has been excellent in recent weeks, and he will be hopeful of that continuing against a struggling side like Wolves.
Rob Edwards tasted defeat in his maiden voyage at Molineux and now travels to B6 in the hope of putting points on the board for the first time.
The former Villa defender will return to his old stomping ground with his side on just two points, with the upcoming clash set to be managed by referee Chris Kavanagh.

The Premier League announced that the 40-year-old will be the man in the middle at Villa Park and will be joined by Dan Cook, Ian Hussin and Steve Martin on the ground.
James Bell and Nick Greenhalgh will watch on as VAR from Stockley Park, but it is the appointment of Kavanagh that is likely to cause Rogers frustration.
Morgan Rogers clashed with Cavenagh in last outing
Kavenagh was last named as referee for a Villa clash when Villa made the trip to North London to face Arsenal back in January.
The Villans came back from behind to snatch a point with a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins at the Emirates.
Emery felt as if his side could have gotten more from the game, with Kavanagh coming under pressure from Rogers in particular.
The Englishman was caught by the Sky Sports camera saying some unsavoury words towards the match official after a string of decisions went against Villa’s number 27.
Rogers was adjudged to have given away five fouls, contributing to 27 per cent of Villa’s fouls committed on the evening himself.
The clip of the attacking midfielder swearing at the referee was widely shared on social media, so a new meeting between the two could result in questionable scenes.
