Leon Bailey ‘finished at Aston Villa’ after £60m Chelsea transfer development
Leon Bailey could be on his way out of Aston Villa in the summer.
The Jamaican winger has notched just one goal and two assists in 23 matches in the Premier League this season for Unai Emery’s side.
The 27-year-old has been overtaken in the pecking order by the likes of Marcus Rashford, Marco Asensio and Morgan Rogers.
A new development from Villa Park could set the wheels in motion for the former Bayer Leverkusen man to depart.

Aston Villa enter £60million Noni Madueke race
Aston Villa are planning to reignite their Noni Madueke interest in the summer transfer window.
TEAMtalk report (26 March) that the Villans are rivalling Tottenham and Newcastle for the 23-year-old’s signature.
It states that Chelsea will demand a fee of £60million for the former PSV star if he is allowed to leave Stamford Bridge.

Madueke move could spell disaster for Bailey
The Blues star has notched seven goals and three assists in the same number of matches as the Villans ace in a great breakout campaign in West London.
At the moment, he would be a major upgrade on Bailey, who has disappointed after he hit double figures in the league for goals last campaign and bagged nine assists.

Much greater things were expected from the Jamaican after that remarkable season, but he has failed to kick on and make himself a regular on the scoresheet and has found his role reduced as a result.
He has shown glimpses of the quality that he possesses with a stunning strike in the 3-1 Champions League victory over Club Brugge (4 March), but those moments have been far and few in between for the 33-cap international.
It makes sense for Villa to pursue Madueke as a replacement, since he is younger and has much more potential, which would align with Villa’s ambitions to be regulars in Europe’s premier competition.
If the Villans can pull it off and persuade the future England international to make the move to B6, then they should allow Bailey to leave to finance the deal, as Emery will not need his services.
