Jamie Carragher predicts Aston Villa v Bologna in Champions League for Sky Sports
Jamie Carragher has backed Aston Villa to get another victory in the Champions League over Bologna on 22 October.
The former Liverpool defender has predicted it to finish 2-1 to Unai Emery’s men at Villa Park for Sky Sports’ Super 6.
Carragher also predicted that RB Leipzig will take a point from Liverpool in a 1-1 draw.

Villa have been on a roll ever since Emery took charge of the club after the sacking of Steven Gerrard at the start of the 2022/23 season.
The Villans made it to the Conference League semi-finals in the previous campaign and finished fourth in the Premier League table.
As a result, the Villa Park faithful are seeing their team play in the most prestigious competition and have already beaten Bayern Munich 1-0 at home.
Having won both their Champions League matches so far, fans will be confident going into the fixture against Bologna.
The defence has looked solid, and both Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran have been firing on all cylinders ahead of the game.
Apart from Vincenzo Italiano’s team, Villa also have to contend with Club Brugge, Juventus, Leipzig, Monaco and Celtic to advance to the knockout stages.
Therefore, with some tough challenges ahead, Carragher’s prediction will hopefully come true, and the Villans maintain their perfect run in the competition.
