Aston Villa talks for Eli Junior Kroupi already mooted, Bournemouth set to reply to calls
Aston Villa were told to ask Bournemouth about the price of Eli Junior Kroupi in April, and now there’s a queue forming.
The Frenchman was one of the biggest breakout stars in the Premier League last season and proved himself as a true goalscoring threat.
He massively helped the Cherries to rise up the table and ultimately seal a Europa League finish for the first time in their history.
It is unclear whether he will be lining up with the south coast outfit on the continent as his future hangs in the balance.
Villa have been urged to show interest in Kroupi as Europe’s elite clubs get involved in the race to land his signature.

The 19-year-old has taken to English football like a duck to water and only got better as the campaign went on.
His work under Andoni Iraola has certainly caught the eye this season, especially with his goals playing a key role in the Cherries’ sixth-place finish.

That was always going to prompt interest in his signature moving into the summer, and it has already begun with weeks remaining until the window opens.
Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday that Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester City have recently made calls to Bournemouth about the forward.

They all want to be informed about his availability, as do Bayern Munich after making contact back in April.
All these sides are waiting to learn the asking price, something which Villa would already have for Kroupi if they had acted faster.
Aston Villa told to move for Kroupi back in April
There have been plenty of questions surrounding potential transfer business in B6 after a frustrating few years due to financial rules.
That uncertainty was certainly worse before the Villans qualified for the Champions League and won the Europa League to end the campaign.
Before any of that was sorted, former Villa scout Bryan King was already urging his former side to ask Bournemouth about Kroupi.

In April, he exclusively told Villa News: “If Villa want to keep pushing up the Premier League, they’ll be running the eye over Kroupi and asking what he costs.
“Bournemouth seem to go and find centre-forwards like him, players who are hungry and want to score goals. They can find them for a reasonable price and will sell them on for a profit.”
The claret and blue faithful will wish King’s advice had been taken, as many elite sides could now be at the front of the queue, moving closer to the summer.
