Tottenham fans furious with Aston Villa announcement: ‘Should complain to the league’
Tottenham fans have been left raging ahead of their trip to face Aston Villa in May.
The Lilywhites have had a dreadful season and could be well on their way to relegation, even with Roberto De Zerbi now in charge.
There are limited Premier League games remaining for the North London club to turn things around, as they currently sit within the bottom three.
Unai Emery looks set to have a say on their short-term future as Spurs are set for a trip to Villa Park in their penultimate away game of the campaign.
Tottenham and Villa were initially set to meet for a Saturday afternoon kick-off, but that has since been changed, much to the frustration of the travelling supporters.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham fixture time changed
Although things may be going terribly for the Lilywhites, the claret and blue outfit look set to finish the season with a flourish.
Villa secured an easy mid-week win over Bologna to seal a Europa League semi-final clash against Nottingham Forest in the coming weeks.
| Date | Fixture | Stadium |
| 30/04/2026 | Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa | City Ground |
| 07/05/2026 | Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest | Villa Park |
Progression in the European competition has prompted a Premier League fixture alteration for Tottenham’s trip to B6, initially pencilled in for Saturday, 2 May at 12:30pm.
That has been changed, and now Villa will face Tottenham at 7pm on Sunday, 3 May.
The announcement hasn’t gone down well with Spurs fans, and rightly so, as the new time has left one fan urging the Lilywhites to make a complaint to the league organisers.

The frustration has been echoed by many supporters, who have been left fuming by the kick-off time set at Villa Park.

Fans are rightly fuming over the decision, as it has thrown many transportation options into doubt just two weeks before the B6 clash.
Villa fans have dealt with plenty of anger this season, but this is an example that the claret and blue outfit have had no control over.
Tottenham fans overlooked by Premier League
A change had to be made due to Villa’s progression in the Europa League, but there is no real excuse for such a late kick-off time on a Sunday.
There are bound to be plenty of logistical nightmares at the end of a week, especially with it being the day before a bank holiday Monday.
That has prompted many Tottenham fans to slam the league organisers for failing to help supporters, with one saying: “The fans don’t get looked after at all.”

Another has questioned, “What kind of time is that on a Sunday?” especially given many supporters’ work commitments.
Additionally, one supporter has responded sarcastically, referring to the situation as “the gift that keeps on giving”.

It’s safe to say that this call has gone down badly at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but it’s unlikely to make a difference ahead of the clash at Villa Park.
