After a series of loan spells limited Martinez to just 38 appearances for Arsenal, he has gone on to make 237 in between the sticks for Villa, keeping 77 clean sheets in the process.
Argentine outlet El Intransigente report that there are efforts behind the scenes at Inter Milan, with a “very positive meeting” between representatives and the club leaked, regarding the possibility of the 33-year-old making a move to the club this summer.
This comes from journalist German Garcia Grova, who suggests that a move is being “seriously considered,” with the future of current Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer also in doubt.
