Aston Villa wonderkid’s agent speaks out as exit confirmed
Aston Villa have completed another piece of business after the transfer deadline closed.
The deadline closed on 2 February, with the Villans bringing in four new players in the winter transfer window.
Brian Madjo, Alysson, Douglas Luiz and Tammy Abraham all arrived at Villa Park to bolster Unai Emery‘s squad for the second half of the campaign.
An exit has now been confirmed, with deadlines in Europe extending past the Premier League‘s own, meaning they can still lose players, but can’t add them.

Rory Wilson leaves Aston Villa as deal announced
Aston Villa starlet Rory Wilson is highly rated, and he has been sent out on loan to gain valuable senior experience, with no buy option in the deal
Austrian side Sturm Graz is his destination, and they confirmed the move on 6 February before their window closed on the same day.
His agent, Elliott Fillingham, spoke out after the move was announced, saying: “Delighted for Rory Wilson as he joins back-to-back Austrian Bundesliga champions Sturm on loan from Aston Villa until the end of the season.”
Why Wilson move makes perfect sense for all parties
Wilson is not going to play for the senior side anytime soon, with Ollie Watkins and Abraham ahead of him in the pecking order.
Therefore, a loan departure makes sense for the player as he can cut his teeth in the senior ranks and hopefully come back next season, ready to try and earn a first-team berth.
Playing often at the highest level is the best possible thing for his development, so the move makes perfect sense for the club, too.
Villans supporters will be glad to see that there is no buy option or anything like that, as they are desperate to see him make it one day in claret and blue.
| Stats | Wilson |
| Matches | 67 |
| Goals | 44 |
| Assists | 5 |
He has made waves in the youth ranks, with 44 goals in 67 matches in all competitions for the youth ranks in B6.
He missed out on a loan to Hoffenheim, which would have had a £6m buyout clause if he had went there, which means that the Villans will keep his services in the future.
Given his immense potential, that will be a relief for the fans, many who are watching his progress keenly and will hope to see him kick on in Austria.
