Aston Villa fans to be thrilled by Alysson developments ahead of Bournemouth clash
Aston Villa face a trip to Bournemouth as they seek a return to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend.
Villa lost 1-0 to Brentford at Villa Park on Sunday, and they need to bounce back to winning ways if they want to keep the pace with league leaders Arsenal.
Unai Emery’s side face an away trip to Bournemouth, who have been in fine form and remain unbeaten in their last four league games.
Villa thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 at Villa Park during their first meeting of the season, and they haven’t lost in their last two visits to the south coast.
Tammy Abraham and Douglas Luiz have already made their second Villa debuts after joining in the winter transfer window, but another new face is now on course to make his first appearance for the Villans.
Alysson returns to training ahead of Bournemouth clash
Alysson joined Aston Villa for £8.7m from Brazilian outfit Gremio, with the potential for a further £1.75m in add-ons in the future.
The right winger was Aston Villa‘s first signing of the winter transfer window, and he possesses a great amount of pace and potential.
It was initially thought that a loan spell would be best for his development, but Emery has valued keeping him at Villa Park, which means he can certainly play a part in the second half of the season.

The Athletic reported that the youngster had returned to training on Thursday, and there is now a chance he could feature at the Vitality Stadium.
Villa fans will be much more excited over his arrival now that it’s clear he has the ability to improve in the Premier League.
At just 19 years of age, he will become the fifth Brazilian player to make his debut when that opportunity arises, which may come on Saturday.
What is certain is that Emery has placed a lot of faith in Alysson to succeed.
What has Unai Emery said about Alysson?
On 2 January, the Spaniard spoke about why Villa signed the Brazilian, and what he can bring to the side.
He said: “Alysson is very young. He is a winger playing on the right side, but he is left-footed. We signed him thinking about his development with us, exploiting his potential as a player.
“He can defend, attack, and he is intense. He is young, and the adaptation firstly is with our training sessions, and then progressively, hopefully, in the Premier League with the demands we have.”

Alysson is the type of player who gets the fans off their seats, and the supporters could get their first glimpse of him against Bournemouth.
His future is undoubtedly bright, and only time will tell if he can become a superstar in B6.
