Morgan Rogers set for Aston Villa pay rise amid £150m transfer claim – Exclusive
Morgan Rogers is set to be rewarded for his stellar Aston Villa form.
Rogers has been a star for Villa in recent weeks and has dragged Unai Emery’s side through to help secure their 10 wins in a row.
The Villa Park faithful have become accustomed to his trademark celebration as they saw it twice as Villa beat Manchester United 2-1 last time around.
This form is likely to spark renewed transfer interest in the coming months, following Chelsea’s summer links to Rogers.
The Villans may be concerned about the winter window and beyond, but Rogers could be in line for a personal financial boost in B6.

Morgan Rogers in line for Aston Villa pay rise
Nicky Butt wants Rogers at Manchester United, which obviously isn’t happening, but that interest could prompt a change in the attacking midfielder’s contract.
The England international only penned a new contract earlier in the season, but a clause in that deal could revolve around transfer links away from the Midlands.
Former Villa scout Bryan King has suggested Rogers has boosted his value to £150million and is likely to land an increased salary for his efforts.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, King said: “Aston Villa have got £150m sat there, because that is what he is worth to that football club.
“I’d imagine there’s already a clause in his contract that says if anyone comes in for him, his money will go up. If I were Villa, I wouldn’t let him leave for at least £150m.
“If you’re talking £100m for Jack Grealish, then you’ve got to be talking about £150m for this boy.

“He’s come from nothing and shown what I expected him to be.
“I thought he was a very good player when he got in the side, and he’s continuing to prove it for Villa and England.“
Aston Villa will do all they can to keep Rogers
Villa aren’t in the position that they were with Grealish right now.
Back when the academy lad joined Manchester City, the Villans were a mid-table outfit that couldn’t offer the attacking midfielder what he wanted to achieve in his career.
Rogers can do those things in claret and blue, as Emery can provide him with the opportunity to fight at the top end of the Premier League and play European football every season.
Even at £150m, Villa could feel shortchanged if they were to lose their new star man, but there is no doubt that they will do all they can to keep him in B6.
