Marcus Rashford loves Unai Emery as reaction shared after Aston Villa win vs Manchester United

Marcus Rashford has shown his love for Aston Villa after their win over Manchester United on Sunday.

Villa secured a 2-1 win against United at Villa Park, making it 10 wins from 10 games across all competitions.

The Villans had Morgan Rogers to thank for his brace against United as he found the net with two hugely similar stunners in B6.

Unai Emery has taken plaudits for the win despite Wayne Rooney spouting negative comments about Villa in the aftermath.

The Spaniard has taken to social media to celebrate the win, with Rashford reaching out to react to his former head coach.

Marcus Rashford likes Unai Emery post after Manchester United win

Rashford is currently thriving at Barcelona this season after making his LaLiga switch in the summer at the end of his claret and blue outings.

The Villans would have loved to have the England international back permanently, but it just wasn’t possible due to financial restrictions.

That forced the forward back to Man United, who subsequently forced the 28-year-old out the door despite their lack of attacking depth at the time.

It seems as if Rashford holds Villa more dearly than the Red Devils, as he showed love to Emery after the win at Villa Park.

The Spaniard took to Instagram after the 2-1 victory to share an inspirational message, reading: “With conviction and dedication, we keep pushing this team’s limits. Step by step. Together.

The former Villa loanee liked the post to show his appreciation to the head coach, even after spending just five months in the Midlands.

Aston Villa could still sign Rashford permanently

Villa are on course to qualify for the Champions League this season and even potentially win the Europa League.

That could prove to be enough to tempt star names to the Midlands next season, with Rashford potentially an option moving forward.

The Englishman credits Villa for helping to get his career back on track, and there is seemingly still love there for Emery and Co.

Should he become available next season, there may prove to be nothing stopping the Villans from agreeing a permanent swoop for the 28-year-old.
