UEFA could still cut Aston Villa fan joy short as Villa Park development emerges
Aston Villa fans have one main complaint about their superb campaign.
The Villans are on a special run of form, having confirmed nine wins on the bounce with Villa’s 3-2 away win against West Ham last time around.
Morgan Rogers bagged a brace at the London Stadium and made sure Unai Emery’s side kept pace with Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
The next clash in B6 will see Villa face Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United, something which, based on recent history, could see the winning run come to an end.
Excitement has emerged for the future ahead of this upcoming game, but there are still reservations about what could happen in the coming months at Villa Park.

Aston Villa could finally play on Saturday at 3pm
Villa fans have been neglected by the Premier League, with their fixtures continually moved to be shown on TV.
The claret and blue outfit typically play on Sunday due to their Europa League commitments, which force them into Thursday night fixtures.

A recent clash against Leeds United was moved to a Sunday afternoon, despite the lack of a European fixture in the days prior.
That, on top of a fixture change for January’s clash with Everton, meant Villa’s run without a Saturday 3pm match at Villa Park would continue.
John Percy has suggested that this will end in February with a clash against Leeds United, ending a year-long spell without a game at that time.
Villa last faced Ipswich Town on a Saturday at 3pm in B6 on 15 February 2025 and could face Leeds at the same time on 21 February 2026.
Supports may feel as if their waiting has finally come to an end, but that may not be entirely true.
UEFA could end Aston Villa hope of Saturday 3pm kick-off
Percy’s hope that Villa could finally play at the traditional kick-off time in the Midlands has been somewhat cut short by his own point that it “will depend on Villa qualifying for the Europa League round of 16.“
The Villans look destined to finish in the top eight of the league phase, something which would see them avoid a qualification play-off before the round of 16.
The drop into that shootout could still be possible, and with fixtures set to be played on 19 and 26 February, the clashes would see that Leeds fixture moved.
That would only drive up further frustration over kick-off times in B6, but as it stands feels unlikely based on the current standings.
