Aston Villa ready £26m offer to seal Abde Ezzalzouli transfer for Unai Emery

Aston Villa are willing to pay £26.4million to sign Real Betis star Abde Ezzalzouli.

Villa are keen to arm Unai Emery with reinforcements as they continue to work towards sporting success.

The Villans have rescued a slow start to their club season, where Villa’s shock 4-0 win over Bournemouth lifted them to sixth in the Premier League.

Villa recently saw several players called up for the November international break, but with the club season set to resume, Emery will be thinking of ways to strengthen his squad already.

Villa must offer above market value figure

Villa are preparing an offer for Betis winger Abde, according to Fichajes

However, it is understood that Betis will only accept a bid above the 23-year-old’s market value.

Villa and Emery are desperate for attacking players to reinforce in the final third for the second half of the season.

Ez Abde, who is known for his pace, dribbling and technical ability, is seen as the ideal candidate to bolster the Villans’ attack.

The winger, valued by Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini, has increased his valuation and complicated an exit in the upcoming window.

Furthermore, the Moroccan winger is targeted by several other clubs, including fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace.

While the £26.4m asking price far exceeds his market value, Villa are prepared to return to the charge for Abde and are convinced he’ll improve their squad.

The real challenge will be convincing Betis to sell, but if this barrier is overcome, it could mark a turning point in Villa’s transfer strategy this season.

Would Abde Ezzalzouli be a good investment?

The left winger has already netted three goals and has provided two assists in eight La Liga appearances this season.

This is already an improvement from last season, where he bagged four goal contributions in 23 league starts for the Spanish side.

Eze Abde is clearly a player with potential: he’s young, hungry and could cause some real damage in the Premier League.

However, for a fee more than double his market value, questions remain over whether his output warrants his asking price.
