Matty Cash reveals transfer insight at Aston Villa after receiving multiple exit offers
Matty Cash has revealed that he could have left Aston Villa in the summer.
Cash has recently signed a new deal with Villa after a terrific start to the season in claret and blue.
The Poland international has been a consistent force under Unai Emery in recent weeks, culminating in an excellent Cash performance for Villa against Brentford.
Cash was nominated for Premier League Player of the Month in October, before going on to pen a contract extension at Villa Park until 2029.
Cash has now spoken out to drop a bombshell, revealing that he could have left B6 in the summer after multiple offers came in from elsewhere.

Matty Cash reveals summer transfer offers away from Aston Villa
Cash scored the winner against Manchester City just weeks ago, in a moment representative of how good he has been this season.
The right-back was able to keep Savinho and Jeremy Doku quiet in the Midlands, with the latter causing huge problems for Liverpool last time around.
This performance showed how far the 28-year-old has come this season after being a polarising figure in claret and blue previously.
Many fans would have welcomed his departure in the summer, and Cash has now revealed that it was a true possibility.
Speaking via The Football Reporters podcast on 11 November, the full-back revealed that he had a pair of exit offers on the table before eventually signing a new Villa contract.
He said: “I had an offer in the summer to go elsewhere. Well, I had two offers from different clubs, but I never really focused on that. My main priority is to stay at Villa.
“Villa is a great club and I’ve done a lot of work there over the progress as a player. I still think there’s a lot to go, to be honest.
“I said in the summer to the manager when we had a chat that I wanted to stay, I wanted to keep improving, and obviously this year, I’ve found a good little bit of form. I’m delighted that they came to me and offered me a deal.“

What has Unai Emery said about Matty Cash?
It is a surprise that Emery has taken such a liking to Cash, considering he typically prefers a more defensive-minded full-back.
In his Villarreal days, the Spaniard utilised former centre-back Juan Foyth as a full-back and has shown an interest in Oscar Mingueza at Villa Park, who profiles similarly.

He has instead stood by the Poland star and clearly has plenty of respect and admiration for the defender in the Midlands.
He previously spoke out on the right-back to say: “He’s a fantastic man, and as a player, he’s progressing a lot. His commitment with Villa is huge.“
This gives clear reasoning why Cash turned down a move away in the summer and it seems that Emery’s backing has worked to get the best out of the ex-Nottingham Forest man.
