Unai Emery on verge of Aston Villa history ahead of Bournemouth showdown
Unai Emery has a chance to become only the second Aston Villa manager ever to win 36 Premier League home matches at Villa Park on Sunday.
The Spaniard has been excellent since he arrived at the Birmingham outfit, and has completely transformed the club.
Under Emery, Villa have become regulars in Europe and have a serious chance of winning the Europa League this season.
Much of this has been down to Villa’s home form, with Emery overseeing an excellent record at Villa Park.
Now, he has a chance to reach 36 Premier League wins at the stadium against Bournemouth.

Unai Emery one win off John Gregory’s Premier League win record at Villa Park
Villa face a tough test against Bournemouth on Sunday, but it is certainly one they can overcome.
If they pick up a victory, the Birmingham outfit would return to the European spots despite their dreadful start to the season.
However, on top of the league benefits of winning, Emery will also be aiming for three points due to a potential record.
Unai Emery needs just one more win at Villa Park in the Premier League to become the joint-record holder for most wins as #AVFC manager at home in the competition:

This will give the Spaniard plenty of confidence in getting a result when the two face off on the weekend.
Hopefully, it will be another routine win for Villa as they look to rekindle their Champions League aspirations after narrowly missing out on qualification last season.
