
Gabby Agbonlahor sends message to John McGinn after sensational Aston Villa news
Gabby Agbonlahor has been quick to react to John McGinn’s new contract at Aston Villa.
The captain has now put pen to paper to sign a new deal that will keep him at Villa Park until 2028.
This comes after McGinn was regularly linked away from Villa in the summer transfer window, with Unai Emery eventually keeping hold of the midfielder.
Now, with the contract being signed on Wednesday, many took to Instagram to react to the news.

With Aston Villa preparing to face Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday, the McGinn news is a welcome distraction ahead of the controversial match.
McGinn has been heavily praised in recent weeks at Villa Park, as the Birmingham outfit recovers from their poor start to the season.
Now, upon the completion of the deal, Aston Villa took to their Instagram account on 5 November to announce the news.
This prompted comments from former Villa legends, Agbonlahor and Alan Hutton.
The striker replied with a series of red love heart emojis. Whereas Hutton commented with a praised hands and a purple love heart emoji.

After the McGinn deal, Villa may look to hand out numerous deals to stars who have a low amount of time left on their deals.
Next summer, Ross Barkley will be out of contract unless Emery opts to trigger the one-year extension.

In 2027, there are numerous players who will be out of contract, the biggest being Youri Tielemans.
