Monchi sends two word message after what happened in Aston Villa vs Bologna
Aston Villa have taken a 1-0 lead into the interval against Bologna.
Villa have welcomed Bologna in the Europa League as Villa Park welcomed back continental football for the third consecutive season.
A positive result is being demanded by the claret and blue faithful, especially with Emery coming under pressure at Villa right now.
This comes as Emery seemingly fell out with four Villa stars after the draw against Sunderland, before Monchi was moved on by the B6 club.
The Spaniard has now spoken out on social media as his former club under Emery takes a one-goal advantage into the second half against the Serie A outfit.

Monchi delighted with Aston Villa goal vs Bologna
It came as a huge shock when Monchi was confirmed to be leaving Villa after two years at the helm of the Bodymoor Heath hierarchy.
This has since seen Roberto Olabe come in to replace him in the same role, in what seems to have been a pre-arranged change in the Midlands.
Despite this, Villa’s club statement revealed that the transfer chief had stepped down from his role, with many left questioning whether some sort of bust-up had occurred.
Monchi himself has emphatically put this rumour to bed after sharing his instant reaction after John McGinn opened the scoring for Villa against Bologna.
The Scotland international took a touch and arrowed a half-volley into the bottom corner from the edge of the box, in a huge sigh of relief at Villa Park.
This was echoed by Monchi, who reacted via X on 25 September, simply saying: “Come on!!!!”
John McGinn strike vs Bologna puts him in league of his own
If anyone was going to drag Villa up by their coattails, there was always a good argument that it would be the skipper.
That is exactly what he did in the first half against Bologna, putting in a typically industrious performance before opening the scoring.
His exceptional effort from range was trademark McGinn and has now put him out on his own in terms of goals from outside the box.
Opta have reported that this strike was the Scot’s fourth from outside the box in European competition since the start of the 2023/24 campaign in claret and blue.
This ranks him higher than any other player in Europe for this type of goal, proving just how useful these sorts of strikes can be for Emery, despite his dislike for them.
