Donyell Malen future sealed as Aston Villa chief Monchi makes winger decision
Aston Villa are the only side in the Premier League yet to score so far this season.
Despite this, Donyell Malen’s involvement has still been limited under Unai Emery.
The 26-year-old Dutchman has started just one game so far in the Premier League this season, being resigned to making late cameo appearances as Villa have been looking to find a late breakthrough.
With the likes of Morgan Rogers struggling, you would have thought there would have been more opportunities so far for players such as Malen, but this has not been the case.

Potential Ruben Vargas signing could limit Donyell Malen’s involvement even further
Malen is expected to be handed a rare start by Emery as Villa take on Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
Given their underwhelming start to the season, this is the perfect opportunity for the winger to impress and stake his claim for a regular place in the starting XI moving forward.
However, with Villa being linked with a move for Sevilla winger Vargas, there may be even more pressure on Malen to perform if he wants to have a long-term future in B6.
According to reports from Vamos mi Sevilla on 15 September, Monchi and Villa are reportedly interested in a move for the 27-year-old Swiss winger.
Vargas has started the new La Liga campaign in excellent form, notching three assists in his opening three matches.
An offer of around £17.3million would be enough to bring the winger to Villa Park; however, they would face competition from the likes of AC Milan and Villarreal.

How much does Ruben Vargas currently earn at Sevilla?
A lot has been made of how some of the extortionate wages that Villa pay out have contributed to their PSR troubles over recent seasons.
Luckily for Villa supporters, Vargas would likely not fit into this bracket, with the winger earning around £27,622.97 per week according to Capology.
This is a dramatic reduction on the reported £175,000 per week Malen earns at Villa, and this may be something that Monchi may be considering if he approaches Sevilla to sign Vargas.
Bringing in Vargas would allow Villa to get Malen and his mammoth wages off the books, which would save them around £9.1million per year.
