Brentford vs Aston Villa postponement latest after Met Office weather warning
Aston Villa have a quick turnaround after their weekend clash against Everton, taking on Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
Unai Emery’s men were poor again against Everton, with the 0-0 draw leaving them in 19th, with just two points from their opening four matches.
Although Emi Martinez impressed in his return to the side, Villa’s forward line continued to be non-existent as their wait for a goal painfully drags on.
The Carabao Cup fixture against Brentford gives Emery and Co. an ideal opportunity to finally kickstart their season, as Villa News provides supporters with the latest Met Office update.

Yellow weather warning in place ahead of Aston Villa’s trip to Brentford
Harvey Elliott will be hoping to make his first start against Brentford tomorrow night, with Emery potentially using the game to get a closer look at some of his new signings.
If the likes of Elliott impress, then they will have a good chance of forcing their way into the team for Premier League action, considering how poor the Villans have been so far this season.
Ahead of Villa’s trip to the Gtech Community Stadium, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds on Monday.
However, that warning is set to go away in the early hours of Tuesday morning, so the 8pm kickoff on Tuesday is under no threat of postponement.
During the clash, the temperature is set to range from 16 to 17 degrees Celsius, with a less than five per cent chance of rain throughout.

Carabao Cup should be a priority for Aston Villa
With Champions League qualification already looking unlikely for Villa, their main focus should be picking up silverware this season under Emery.
The Spaniard has done a phenomenal job of turning the club’s fortunes around, and winning a trophy would cement his place as a Villa legend.
If the likes of Newcastle and Crystal Palace have been able to pick up domestic trophies as of late, then Villa are more than capable of replicating their success and winning their first trophy since 1996, over 29 years ago.
