‘This is horrible’… Aston Villa fans are all saying the same thing after Jacob Ramsey makes Newcastle debut
Jacob Ramsey came on as a substitute for Newcastle United as he made his debut at St James’ Park.
Aston Villa sold Ramsey to Newcastle for £43million, which generated pure PSR profit for the West Midlands outfit.
The midfielder made a 14-minute cameo for the Magpies as they fought back from two goals down, only to lose 3-2.
Villa supporters watched on as Ramsey made his first appearance in black and white, and they were all in agreement.

Aston Villa are eyeing replacements for Ramsey, but they are yet to bring a fresh face through the door.
Marco Asensio has been linked with a Villa Park return and may well make the move before the transfer window closes.
However, with all of that going on in the background, all eyes were on Newcastle and Liverpool as they delivered a Premier League classic.
Ramsey came off the bench in the 76th minute for the stricken Joelinton, who was in tears as he trudged off the pitch at St James’ Park.

With the score at 2-1, the 24-year-old put in a respectable display, without making a telling impact on the scoreline.
Clearly, Villa supporters were tuning into the encounter as they reacted to their former player on social media.

Will Unai Emery miss Jacob Ramsey at Villa Park?
Although it is early days into the season, results suggest that Emery is already missing Ramsey.
Aston Villa were lucky to draw with Newcastle before suffering a shock defeat to Brentford at the Gtech Stadium.
The Villans have looked devoid of creativity and have fielded an almost identical team to last season over the first couple of games.
Emery looks particularly short of quality in midfield, and having Ramsey as an option would be essential right now.
Of course, the West Midlands outfit have time to find a replacement, and they simply must find a quality one with time running out.
