Jonathan Kodjia is still well-loved at Aston Villa after helping the Birmingham outfit reach the Premier League.
The striker spent three and a half seasons at Villa Park, playing 105 times and scoring 31 goals.

While the 35-year-old may no longer feature on the pitch for Villa, he remains associated with Villa, and recently reacted to the signing of Evann Guessand.

Evann Guessand the key to Aston Villa’s Europa League success?
No matter what happens with Ollie Watkins and Manchester United, there will be an expectation on Guessand to succeed.
With the Europa League also coming into play this season, there is a brilliant opportunity for Villa to win a major trophy and return to the Champions League.

However, if this is to happen, Guessand will have to hit form in both Europe and the Premier League.
Stats already indicate that Guessand could be a better striker than Watkins.
While it may take some time for the striker to adapt to the Premier League, it is vital for Emery’s plans that the Ivorian becomes a success.
If not, Villa will lose even more ground in the race for Europe this season.
