Now, one player who has been linked to Villa is Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen.
The attacking midfielder is linked to several Premier League sides, such as West Ham and Crystal Palace, and now Emery is looking to win the race for his signature.

Yasin Ozcan has been one of the few players to join Aston Villa this summer.
The Turk has arrived from Kasimpasa with plenty of promise and potential.
As a result, Emery is keen to see the centre-back develop and has sent Ozcan out on loan to Anderlecht.
The 19-year-old will stay at the Belgian side until the end of the season, where he will hope to play plenty of matches.

It is said that the Saudi side will consider a move if talks with Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-Jae fall through.
