Kolo Muani the ideal choice – three Watkins replacements at Aston Villa
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins could be on the move.
Manchester United have two bids for Watkins rejected by Villa, but they are expected to come back with a larger offer, and many are expecting a bid to eventually be accepted.
Watkins is rumoured to be upset at being dropped for several key games last season. Although he’s currently the only recognised striker at Villa Park, it’s not clear whether his relationship with Unai Emery has been repaired.
He would be the undisputed main man at Manchester United and would likely receive a pay rise if he left.

Kolo Muani would be ideal Watkins replacement
Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as a target for Aston Villa and would be the ideal replacement for Watkins.
The Frenchman is out of favour at Paris Saint-Germain. He was sent out on loan to Juventus last January, but he showed his potential in Serie A.
Kolo Muani has pace to burn and his proven himself at the highest level. He has the potential to either be the perfect partner for Watkins or a better replacement.
Aston Villa linked with Monaco striker Mika Biereth
Mika Biereth has emerged as an Aston Villa target after impressing at Monaco last season.
Monaco signed the Danish striker from Sturm Graz in January, and he repaid them with 13 goals in 19 appearances.
Even though he’s only been in France for half a season, it’s believed that Biereth could be sold a high enough offer was submitted.
Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson remains an option for Aston Villa
Nicolas Jackson has struggled at Chelsea and has become a figure of ridicule among some opposing fans.
However, Emery coached the Senegal international at Villareal and remains an admirer of him. Jackson is somewhat of a fitness risk, but Emery believes it’s worth taking a punt on him.

In an ideal world, he would come in alongside Watkins and/or another target, rather than as the sole replacement for the England international.
