Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News: “He suffered no injuries last season, so that’s undoubtedly a positive sign.

“His experience in the Premier League means that the adaptation is also not expected to be an issue should he join Villa.

“I do not expect him to face any issues with his medical, either.”

Aston Villa must sign El Khannouss on a bargain fee

Signing Bilal El Khannouss at a bargain fee is a shrewd move for Aston Villa, capitalising on Leicester City’s relegation to the Championship.

The 22-year-old Moroccan midfielder, known for his creative flair and versatility and will bring something unique to the Villa Park outfit.

Relegation has weakened Leicester’s bargaining power, allowing Villa to target El Khannouss for potentially £15million, significantly below his market value.

His ability to dictate play and contribute defensively aligns perfectly with Unai Emery’s system.

Securing the former Genk starlet on the cheap not only bolsters Villa’s squad depth for their Champions League campaign but also represents a smart investment in a player with immense upside potential.
