Black Sabbath at Villa Park: Weather forecast, ticket details, start time
Aston Villa are playing host to Black Sabbath in the heavy metal icons’ first performance in 20 years.
As PSR and other financial constraints continue to dominate the football world, the Villans are acting quickly not to be left behind by their rivals.
This has seen concerts being held at Villa Park in recent years, with rock legends Guns N’ Roses last donning the stage at the iconic stadium.
Other global music artists, including Bruce Springsteen, P!NK, and Foo Fighters, have held shows in recent years.
Local heroes Black Sabbath are the next in line to perform in B6, playing a show in the ground that Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward grew up a stone’s throw from.
The “Back to the Beginning” tour will also feature performances from the likes of Metallica, Slayer and Panthera among others, with all profits being split equally between Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.

Aston weather update for Black Sabbath show
With Osbourne’s return show in a stadium, the weather is set to play a key role in the event going ahead in the Midlands.
It will be of great relief to the Prince of Darkness and travelling fans that the forecast is showing mostly dry in Aston for Saturday, 5 July.
With the gates at Villa Park set to open at 11am BST on the day of the gig, temperatures of 20°C are predicted, with an increase to 21°C expected at 2pm and beyond [BBC Weather, 25 June].

Show goers may be frustrated to learn of potential showers at 5pm, scheduled to last no more than an hour, with a precipitation of 35 per cent.

Aston Villa confirm Black Sabbath sell out
As it stands, the overall structure of the day hasn’t been confirmed, despite the gate opening time seemingly penned in already.
That hasn’t stopped supporters from purchasing tickets in their droves and selling out the event, in a similar fashion to Villa fans throughout Unai Emery’s management.
On the official Aston Villa website (25 June), tickets for the “Back to the Beginning” tour at B6 have sold out with well over a week to go.
Although this will be of great disappointment to those who can’t attend, Black Sabbath announced that the event can be live-streamed on a pay-per-view basis.
Those who pay a fee for the show online will then be able to watch the event on demand for up to 48 hours afterwards.
The stream has been confirmed to be starting at 3pm on the day of the show, which can lead to the assumption that it is roughly when the gig properly gets underway.
