Aston Villa ready for Boubacar Kamara exit attack after contract developments
Aston Villa have a difficult summer transfer window ahead as they could lose some key players, and Boubacar Kamara is the latest to be linked with an exit.
Kamara has had an outstanding season for Aston Villa, featuring across a variety of positions, and is now being targeted by other clubs.
Villa need to sell as they find themselves in a difficult profit and sustainability (PSR) situation, and missing out on Champions League football was a huge blow in this regard.
Emi Martinez is one key player who could leave, but Villa will be devastated if Kamara also leaves, and have tried their best to keep him.

Al-Hilal interested in Kamara despite Villa contract offer
Kamara is now attracting interest from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, and his future at Villa is far from certain.
French outlet FootMercato (10 June) have now reported that Kamara could be inclined to leave Villa given their lack of Champions League football next season.
Al-Hilal are attentive to the situation, but know that it could be hard to tempt him to leave Europe in a World Cup year.

It is reported that Villa have offered Kamara a club-record contract to keep him at Villa Park, highlighting how much Unai Emery does not want to lose him.
However, Villa are “preparing to be attacked” for the midfielder, as the Saudi interest in him could put other clubs on alert if he becomes available this summer.

Villa have to keep Kamara
Despite the PSR situation, Villa have to do all they can to keep Kamara this summer, given his importance to the team and the fact he would be incredibly difficult to replace.
Kamara was the first-choice pick at the base of midfield but also had to fill in at centre-back when required, and he performed well in both roles.
The 25-year-old has been one of Villa’s best players this season, and if he signs a new deal, could be a vital cog in the midfield for years to come.
If Villa do lose him, they will struggle to replace his influence given their financial situation and the lack of Champions League football, and could suffer massively without such an important part of the team.
