Crystal Palace insider drops £65m Eberechi Eze exit update amid Aston Villa news
Aston Villa are on the hunt for a new attacking midfielder as the start of the transfer window edges closer.
The Birmingham outfit could secure Champions League football for a consecutive season on Sunday as they look to remain one of England’s top clubs.
However, it could be a tricky summer as Villa once again have to navigate PSR.
Nevertheless, Unai Emery wants signings, with a new attacking midfielder appearing to be a top priority.

£65million price tag for Eze ‘may be too much’ for Aston Villa
Aston Villa have been tracking Eberechi Eze for some time.
The Crystal Palace midfielder is easily one of the Premier League’s best players and scored the winner in the London club’s FA Cup final victory.
Therefore, interest is high for the England international, who has been on an incredible run of form since March.

However, according to The Sun, page 57, (25 May), Palace’s valuation of the attacking midfielder may put Villa off a move.
The report states that Eze has a “complicated valuation”, and his current cost would be £65million.
This price tag may prove to be too much for Aston Villa and fellow Premier League side Manchester United as Palace plan to hold onto the 26-year-old.

Aston Villa must break the bank for Eze
For £65million, Villa will not get a better midfielder in world football than Eze.
At present, there is arguably no player in better form as he continues to score for fun.
If Villa were to get him, the 26-year-old would guarantee Champions League football and could repeat his feats at Palace by winning a major trophy at Villa Park.
Emery must simply break the bank to sign Eze, as he would completely transform the team and turn Villa’s attack into one of the best in the world.
