Aston Villa reveal exciting new plans for Bodymoor Heath
Unai Emery has taken Aston Villa on a meteoric rise since he took over in October 2022.
With the season drawing to a close and Villa preparing for another season in Europe, the owners are doing everything they can to improve both the squad and their facilities.
This comes as plans are submitted for more training-ground improvements, with the goal of giving their players the best facilities to help them achieve their goals.

New improvements to Bodymoor Heath training ground
Villa are demonstrating their unwavering commitment to sustained success, as according to the Birmingham Mail (21 May), the club have formally submitted fresh plans to significantly upgrade their state-of-the-art Bodymoor Heath training ground.
This latest development underscores a clear strategic vision for the West Midlands club’s future, both on and off the pitch.
Villa are, of course, already deep into major construction work at the sprawling facility, with projects underway to introduce cutting-edge overnight accommodation for players and staff.
These substantial enhancements run in parallel with exciting blueprints for vastly improved facilities dedicated to the club’s women’s and youth teams, a crucial new rehabilitation centre, and modern, permanent office spaces for administrative and media personnel.
Now, a new proposal has landed with North Warwickshire Borough Council, detailing plans for a significant two-storey extension to the existing first-team and Under-23s academy building.
The core objective of this latest phase is to deliver an improved, expanded, and thoroughly updated dining and nutrition area on the first floor, catering to both senior and junior squads.

Aston Villa announcement hugely exciting
This latest announcement of training-ground developments is not the first in recent times and will most likely not be the last.
Villa’s ownership group are committed to giving Emery everything he needs to take this team forward to continue to challenge for Champions League football every season.
Even with the uncertainty of which European competition Villa will be playing in next season, with their Premier League season going down to the wire.
Villa sit just outside the Champions League places on goal difference ahead of their final game of the season against Manchester United.
These developments are a reminder of how committed the ownership is to the growth and development of the team and club.
