Aston Villa revenue to skyrocket with new £300m-plus reveal – Exclusive
Aston Villa have the chance to make history again with a mountain to climb against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
The Villans welcome the Parisians to Villa Park on Tuesday, looking to overturn a 3-1 deficit in their Champions League quarter-final second leg.
Revenue has skyrocketed at Aston Villa since their return to the top table, and it could go even further with another famous win under the lights.

Aston Villa revenue to skyrocket with UEFA
Dan Plumley has insisted, after the latest accounts, that the £275million revenue is only going to increase when the next set is released next season.
The football finance expert predicts that it will go past £300million, with Villa already earning up to £60m from their current run back in the Champions League.
“That revenue uplift is the difference between finishing fourth in the Premier League versus seventh,” Plumley exclusively told Villa News.
“They had a cup run to the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League as well, so that’s what has boosted the revenue line.
“If you look at how that will jump up in the future, you would expect that to be north of £300million with the Champions League, because the estimates are a club like Villa will have earned up to £60m already as it stands, and they’re still in it as well, so it’s been a huge money spinner for them this season.
“So, the difference there will be seen in the accounts moving forward, but if it’s £275m in 2024 with that uplift, then you’d expect that to break £300m in the Champions League year.”

Champions League transforms Aston Villa again
After a sensational recent run in the Premier League, with five spots available too, Villa are pushing to make it consecutive years in the Champions League.
Position | Club | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
5. | Manchester City | 32 | +20 | 55 |
6. | Chelsea | 32 | +17 | 54 |
7. | Aston Villa | 32 | +3 | 54 |
That is where success can really be held onto, with added revenue clearing up the muddy picture around PSR and UEFA regulations at Villa Park.
Anything can happen under the lights, and hopefully, Paris Saint-Germain find that out later.
