Unai Emery axes Jacob Ramsey in four changes – Aston Villa predicted XI v PSG
Unai Emery could make four changes to his Aston Villa side to face PSG on Tuesday, as Jacob Ramsey could drop to the bench.
The Villans are set to welcome the French giants to B6 in the Champions League quarter-final second leg after a 3-1 defeat at the Parc Des Princes.
This comes just three days after the 3-0 win against Southampton, while Ligue 1’s organisers handed their champions a weekend’s break ahead of the clash at Villa Park on 15 April.
Emery is now preparing to welcome his former side to the Midlands with the hope and belief of turning around a two-goal deficit.
This could see the Spaniard introduce multiple key players back into his side, ready to face Luis Enrique’s side.

Ramsey axed for Aston Villa v PSG
In terms of big game players, there aren’t many bigger than Emi Martinez, and he will be hopeful of a positive performance in B6 after making two saves against Southampton last time out [FotMob].
Ahead of the World Cup winner, Matty Cash and Ezri Konsa could be in line to start again, with the latter winning 100 per cent of his duels at St Mary’s.
This could see Tyrone Mings and Ian Maatsen drop to the bench to allow Pau Torres and Lucas Digne to return to the starting 11 after dropping out on the south coast.
A change could also be utilised by Emery at the base of midfield with Boubacar Kamara potentially set to return for Amadou Onana, who won just 33 per cent of his attempted tackles against the Saints. This could see the Frenchman join Youri Tielemans once again as the Parisians turn up to B6.
The forward line could be set to feature another change with Jacob Ramsey potentially set to drop out. The Englishman had a zero per cent shot accuracy last time out, which won’t be good enough against PSG on the Champions League stage.
This could see Ollie Watkins come in from the start after his goal and 100 per cent duel success against Southampton with Marcus Rashford moving out to his more favoured left wing role.
Despite these changes, Morgan Rogers and Marco Asensio could be in line to start once again, regardless of the Spaniard’s two missed changes against the Premier League’s bottom side.

Aston Villa must be at their best v PSG
There is little doubt that Enrique’s men are the best side that Villa have faced all season and will represent a difficult task once again at Villa Park.
With that being said, everyone associated with the B6 club will be hoping for a historic night in the Champions League against the French giants.

This will be far from easy, and the likes of Rogers, Watkins and Rashford will have to be on top form to make the tie interesting, starting from 3-1 down.
