Marcus Rashford transfer sanctioned as new Aston Villa-Man United update emerges
Marcus Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window, and has since shown glimpses of his true quality.
Rashford endured a difficult year at Man United, and was eventually exiled from the squad when Ruben Amorim became manager.
Unai Emery brought him to Aston Villa, and Rashford enjoyed something of a revival as he scored against Preston and Brighton.
There is reportedly an option to buy in Rashford’s loan contract, but it is unclear if Villa will activate it, and another team are now interested in buying him once his loan ends.

Paris Saint-Germain interested in Marcus Rashford
Rashford delivered a quiet display as Aston Villa were beaten by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, but he clearly impressed the home side.
It has now been reported by The Sun that PSG are interested in a deal for Rashford in the summer transfer window and are even in talks, which will see them go head-to-head with Villa for his signature.

Emery has reportedly given the green light for Villa to sign Rashford, with the Basque manager impressed with his attitude, but there is now interest from the French side in the forward.
The 27-year-old has scored three times in 13 games so far, but Emery clearly believes that he can find his best self at Villa, and is even reportedly willing to make Rashford the main striker ahead of Ollie Watkins.

Watkins could leave if Rashford stays at Villa
The report from The Sun also claims that Watkins, who was the subject of interest from Arsenal in January, could be let go with Rashford becoming the main centre-forward for Villa next season.
Watkins was benched for Rashford against PSG, in a somewhat surprising move, and the 29-year-old’s future is now far from certain.
If Watkins does leave for a significant fee, it could help Villa sign Rashford permanently, and it now seems clear that Emery prefers the Man United loanee through the middle rather than on the wings.
Watkins has been a superb performer for Villa over the years, and his exit would come as a surprise after Jhon Duran was allowed to leave in January.
