Bournemouth ready to accept £33m from Aston Villa amid Asensio worry

Aston Villa are already preparing to be active within the summer transfer window.

Unai Emery’s side is continuing their recent progress as they aim to become one of the powerhouse teams in English football.

Villa might not be in a commanding position to finish in the top four again this season, but they have been enjoying an excellent run in the Champions League.

The club made several impressive loan signings during the January transfer window by signing Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, and now they’re ready to sign some more quality in the summer.

Aston Villa are targeting Dango Ouattara

Bournemouth are willing to accept offers of around £33million, but there is competition for his signature from the likes of Newcastle, AC Milan, and Napoli.

The 23-year-old has impressed for the Cherries this season and he is under contract until 2028, which puts Bournemouth in a stronger negotiating position.

Aston Villa will look to impress players with European football

With several teams looking to establish themselves as top Premier League sides, there will be no shortage of competition for signatures in the summer.

That is why there is added pressure on Villa to secure European football next season to try and stand out and ensure they’re offering the highest level of football to potential prospects.

The club have several opportunities to achieve that, with the most obvious being their Premier League position at the end of the season.

However, the Villans remain in the Champions League and the FA Cup, and winning either of them would guarantee European football.
