‘Aston Villa to make obvious Marcus Rashford transfer decision’ as image emerges

Marcus Rashford came to Aston Villa off the back of huge negativity at Manchester United.

The 27-year-old has certainly put that behind him and has largely impressed since making a temporary switch to Villa Park.

Despite not getting on the scoresheet, the Englishman has proved exactly why Unai Emery was right to take a chance on him in the winter.

With the summer transfer window coming up, a decision over a permanent deal has to be made but after an image was shared on social media, the decision is obvious.

Ruben Amorim was so negative about the forward for weeks and spoke out about his lack of effort in training at Carrington.

It would be extremely interesting to know what went wrong at Old Trafford, given how excellent Rashford has been in claret and blue.

This culminated in him returning to the England squad under Thomas Tuchel in the most recent international break where he once again caught the eye.

No one would necessarily blame the attacker if he opted to take some time off and have a rest after featuring in both games with the Three Lions.

This isn’t the case and instead, Rashford opted to utilise his time off to train on his own at local side Sutton United, as revealed on X (27 March).

An image was shared from the club of the Villa loanee at The Coleshill Road Stadium with staff who noted his “amazing attitude” and humility.

This will come as music to Emery’s ears as he lives and breathes for players who put in their best work at training every week.

Aston Villa must sign Rashford permanently

The biggest concern around the highly-rated Englishman was his commitment and attitude, but this goes some way to proving how hard he is willing to work.

This could prove to be enough for the hierarchy at Bodymoor Heath, like Monchi, to get Manchester United on the phone and make a permanent offer.

All the forward needs to do is grab himself a goal, and all of a sudden, everything has a positive look and there is no reason why he shouldn’t be signed in the summer.

Alongside Marco Asensio from PSG, it will be interesting to see what the Villans do and if they take up an option to sign both sides permanently.
