Marco Asensio to Aston Villa: Paris Saint-Germain set final transfer demands
Aston Villa have been heavily impressed with loan signing Marco Asensio.
Villa signed Asensio on loan from Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day in February, bringing in the Spaniard to bolster their attack.
The Villains also signed Marcus Rashford on loan until the end of the season and Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal to strengthen in the final third.
Rashford and Asensio have hit the ground running as they have become key players in Unai Emery’s system at Villa Park, with the Spaniard scoring crucial goals already.

Asensio shining for Aston Villa
The former Real Madrid man made his Villa debut in the FA Cup against Tottenham Hotspur. Since then, Asensio has not looked back, with five goals in seven games in all competitions.
He scored a brace against Chelsea in the Premier League, two against Cardiff City in the FA Cup and came off the bench to score against Club Brugge in the last-16 of the UEFA Champions League.
His exploits in the Villa shirt have left everyone impressed and murmurs of him being signed permanently are already doing rounds. Emery will be highly impressed with the 29-year-old, as he has come in and given Villa a reliable goalscoring option.

According to GIVEMESPORT, Aston Villa are already exploring the option to sign the Spaniard from PSG permanently. Asensio’s future lies away from Parc des Princes as he is not in Luis Enrique’s plans.
In such a scenario, the Parisians are open to selling the 29-year-old and offload his £125,000 per-week wages, and could agree a fee in the region of £12.6 million.

Aston Villa could make a move for Rashford too
The other loan signing, Rashford, has also racked up some notable performances since leaving Manchester United. The 27-year-old has provided three assists in eight outings but is yet to open his goalscoring account for Villa.
The Englishman has showcased some fine quality which has prompted questions as to why Ruben Amorim constantly neglected Rashford.
Should United decide to offload the 27-year-old this summer, Villa may well be one of the most interested clubs willing to take a bet on him. The deal is a straight loan with no option to buy, but the Villains will negotiate if they are convinced of Rashford’s abilities.
The Englishman can provide a goalscoring threat from the left-flank and lighten the goalscoring burden of Ollie Watkins, so that is also one to watch.
