Jhon Duran twist emerges after triple new transfer agreement at Aston Villa
Jhon Duran will have helped Aston Villa seal a loan move for Marcus Rashford, Dan Plumley has said.
The Villans signed the Manchester United star on loan with an option to buy, with Axel Disasi and Marco Asensio also arriving at Villa Park late in the window.
Duran left Aston Villa after months of speculation around his future, sealing a huge £64million move plus add-ons to join Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, but not everything is as it seems.

Despite the Saudi clubs being willing to splash the cash in the transfer market, Plumley admits that Aston Villa will not receive the entire fee at once for Duran.
The football finance expert admits that his sale will have given Unai Emery and Monchi space to bring in the likes of Rashford, Disasi and Asensio, though.
“You’ve got to factor in the overall cost,” Plumley exclusively told Villa News.
“The sale of Duran was a very big transfer fee, that’s a positive but despite the fact you’ve got the others on loan deal, the wage costs are going to go up.
“So, you have to factor that in and the Duran sale probably made it easier to facilitate the Rashford deal as it gives you a big cushion in the short term, we know they won’t get it all upfront, it doesn’t work like that.
“Villa knowing they have been able to sell a player for that much, gives them some flex to do the deals they’ve done, so it would have been a big factor in that, but we should be considering the transfer fee received for Duran, but the wage outlay on Rashford, Asensio and Disasi as well is what they will be looking at as a net outlay for January.”
