Aston Villa in talks to sign Miyashiro on loan – Sources

Aston Villa are interested in signing Taisei Miyashiro on loan from Vissel Kobe, Villa News understands.

The Villans have had an up-and-down start to the campaign and look set to utilise the January transfer window to bolster their squad.

With that in mind, the B6 club looks set to take advantage of their V Sports network link with the Japanese outfit and enter talks over a potential signing.

This could see versatile attacker Miyashiro make a switch to the Premier League to help Unai Emery and provide additional depth in the squad for the second half of the campaign.

Aston Villa could sign Taisei Miyashiro on loan from Vissel Kobe

A source with close links to the J.League has revealed to Villa News that the West Midlands outfit are in talks to sign the 24-year-old on loan this month.

A temporary addition could make sense for the Villans as Louie Barry and Jaden Philogene may be facing a Villa Park exit this winter

The former Japan Under-20 international scored 11 and assisted one in 2024 and that eye for goal could be a useful addition to the Villa forward line.

With the financial landscape at Villa Park, Monchi and Co. are working hard to find avenues to make signings and a loan deal that takes advantage of an existing link could prove to be an inspired deal.

In other Aston Villa news, talks have opened to sign a Spain international after £24.8m transfer news emerged.
