Unai Emery has obvious Ross Barkley decision to make in Aston Villa v Leicester
Ross Barkley could be the difference for Aston Villa in their clash against Leicester City on Saturday.
The ex-England international has been on the fringes for the Villans since signing from Luton Town during the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old was once again a substitute last time out as Brighton travelled to Villa Park and took away a point after a late Tariq Lamptey equaliser.
With another home clash coming up as the Foxes travel to B6, Unai Emery could call on the midfielder to help secure a much-needed win on 4 January.
Ross Barkley should start for Aston Villa v Leicester City
Against the Seagulls, Boubacar Kamara and Youri Tielemans started but were caught out at times by the away side’s technical midfield and forward options.
Even when Amadou Onana came on, the Belgian struggled to come up to speed with the game which benefited Fabian Hurzeler’s side in the latter stages of the game.
Barkley also came on but gave a positive account of his game as he registered a 75 per cent pass accuracy despite having just 12 touches [FotMob].
The midfielder also chipped in to win two duels during his seven minutes on the pitch which is certainly a positive to take away from the draw.
This proved what the Englishman can add to the side which could result in Emery handing him a start against a relegation-threatened Leicester side.

In his last start, the former Everton star got on the scoresheet while also maintaining a 100 per cent duel win rate while also completing 100 per cent of his attempted dribbles.
The ex-Luton man has been patient so far this season and is certainly deserving of a chance from the start against the Foxes.
