Philogene done at Aston Villa as negotiations start for January transfer
Jaden Philogene could be done at Aston Villa already after January transfer links to a new forward.
The England Under-21 international signed for the Villans in the summer, just a year after departing on a permanent deal to Hull City.
It is safe to say things haven’t gone well for the 22-year-old under Unai Emery after being limited to just two Premier League starts and 325 minutes.
Now that the January transfer window is open, the winger could be set to depart B6 with talks already underway for a potential replacement.

It is unlikely that the tricky winger would be let go without another option coming in and Taisei Miyashiro could prove to be that replacement.

The 24-year-old can play in a whole host of forward positions and netted 11 goals in 2024 which could translate well into Emery’s set-up in the Premier League.
This would add further depth in attacking areas which could force Monchi and Co. to move another player out to make space.

Given his performances this season, that is likely to be Philogene who has fallen out of favour due to a string of poor performances.
It is yet to be seen if a deal will be completed but it could prove to be a busy transfer window in the West Midlands if it continues in this vein.
