Aston Villa could lose Unai Emery if Ange Postecoglou is sacked by Tottenham.
The Australian is under serious pressure in North London after a defeat against Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day (26 December).
This could see Daniel Levy pull the trigger and sack the Spurs boss which would leave a vacant seat in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium dugout.
If the Lilywhites do become active in the managerial market, Emery could be a replacement option with odds slashed to 14/1 [BetVictor].
This places the Villa boss ahead of the likes of Thomas Frank, Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique in the running to become Tottenham manager.

The Spaniard has done wonders for the Villans since taking over from Steven Gerrard and it would be hard to see a positive future in B6 without him.
With over two years at the helm, the former Arsenal boss has achieved much more than anyone would have ever expected.
The 53-year-old has carried his side from a relegation battle to Conference League qualification and then to the Champions League.
As great as that is, there is always going to be top sides interested in his signature the more that this positivity surrounding Villa Park goes on.
It is no surprise that a side like Tottenham would want to bring Emery in given his successes in the Premier League and on the continent.
Given the freedom and financial backing that the Villa hierarchy have handed the ex-Villarreal boss, a move away feels unlikely but the prospect of managing Spurs could be tough to turn down.
