Ollie Watkins on Aston Villa chopping block after what Jhon Duran did v Forest
Jhon Duran scored again for Aston Villa against Nottingham Forest and that has to be a concern for Ollie Watkins.
The Villans lost their first game in three at the City Ground on Saturday (14 December) despite being 1-0 up until the 87th minute.
This was a blow to Unai Emery’s side who missed the chance to move into the Champions League places in the Premier League.
Duran did his part upfront as did Emi Martinez in goal but in the end, Anthony Elanga’s strike was the difference between the two sides.
Moving forward, Watkins may find himself as a regular substitute because his Colombian counterpart is undroppable at the moment.

The 21-year-old just continues to be a star for the Villans and is capturing the attention of the wider footballing world.
The ex-Chicago Fire starlet has scored in his last three appearances, including two from his only two Premier League starts of the season.
The positivity surrounding his performances has continued regardless of the defeat against Forest after an excellent second-half goal.
Duran featured across 74 minutes for the away side and was only able to clock up 21 touches with which he registered five passes [FotMob].
Despite this lack of involvement, the Colombian was still able to get three shots off, with two coming from inside the penalty area.
His performance also saw him chip in defensively as he contributed with four defensive actions and two duels won which is a plus point to his game.
By comparison, in his last start, Watkins registered just one shot while also contributing just one interception.

The England international also won just 25 per cent of duels which isn’t good enough when trying to bring teammates like Morgan Rogers and John McGinn into the game.
Looking ahead to the clash against Manchester City at Villa Park, Duran has to keep his place in the starting XI as he’s done nothing to deserve a place back on the bench.
