Jacob Ramsey update emerges at Aston Villa after hamstring injury blow
Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jacob Ramsey is expected to be out until the end of November with a hamstring injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that this is unlikely to be a Grade 4 rupture that would keep him out for around three months.
The Athletic reported on 11 November that the 23-year-old will be out for a few weeks.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News: “Difficult to say on grade but the best case would be a Grade zero which is tightness in the hamstring and day to day situation while a worst case is a Grade 4 rupture which would be over 10 weeks out.
“He’s still being assessed but I don’t see him being out that long based on what I’ve been hearing.
“He should be back in first-team contention within two or three weeks.“
Jacob Ramsey has been in and out of the Aston Villa side due to injuries
Last season, Ramsey missed a staggering 266 days due to injury and this season it looked like he had established himself as a first-team regular again.
However, this recent setback will only make things worse for him as he’ll lose that match sharpness he worked hard to bring back.

Unai Emery will be hoping that it’s not too lengthy a setback and he’s ready to be brought into the starting XI after a few games.
In other Aston Villa news, another player is not expected to play the full game against Crystal Palace.
