Arsenal told to sign Aston Villa star Jhon Duran after what Patrick Vieira noticed
Patrick Vieira has named Aston Villa star Jhon Duran as his dream striker signing for Arsenal.
The Colombia international has had a superb start to the campaign for the Villans, netting eight goals in 14 appearances so far.
This has piqued the interest of Gunners legend Vieira who singled the 20-year-old for praise, putting him forward as a perfect signing for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Speaking to Bettingexpert.com on 31 October, he said: “I loved his performance against Bayern Munich. He’s the right player for Arsenal – quick, unselfish, solid in the air, technically skilled, and intelligent in his movement.”

It is no surprise that the striker is starting to attract interest from some of the biggest names in football after his start of the season.
There is so much excitement surrounding the Colombian whenever he gets on his pitch as it always feels as if he is going to score.
This has been the case in some of the biggest games of the season with his strike against Bayern Munich one of the best moments in the club’s recent history.
With that being said, his game time has still been limited as Unai Emery continues to favour Ollie Watkins who has still scored five and assisted two this season.
If this continues, there is a chance that the ex-Chicago Fire ace looks to force a move away from Villa Park once again, as he did in the summer window.

If Arsenal and Arteta were to follow Vieira’s advice Duran may be keen on a move to North London but he would likely be a backup once again, this time to Kai Havertz.
It is interesting to see where the 20-year-old’s future lies but it is clear how highly rated he is and Villa are lucky to have him.
