Aston Villa ready offer for Kevin Zenon as new Boca Juniors exit update emerges
Aston Villa are interested in signing Kevin Zenon from Boca Juniors, according to journalist Jonathan Riniti.
Speaking on El Crack Deportivo Noticias (28 October), Riniti revealed that Villa have been monitoring the winger since before the 2024 Olympics in Paris, where he featured for Argentina.
The reporter added that Villa are ready to make an offer for the 23-year-old, who is considering leaving Boca.
Kevin Zenon could be a shrewd signing for Aston Villa
Aston Villa have not been reluctant to splurge a significant amount of money in the transfer window, signing Amadou Onana for a club-record sum of £50million in the summer (Fabrizio Romano).
However, roping in Zenon from Boca Juniors for as little as £11.6million could be a shrewd bit of business from Unai Emery’s side.
The left-footed winger has made 39 appearances in all competitions since arriving at Buenos Aires from Union de Santa Fe in January this year, scoring four goals and seven assists in the process.
Although he usually plays on the left-hand side, he is also comfortable operating on the right among other positions.

With Leon Bailey yet to score for Villa this season, Emery could benefit from having increased competition on the wingers going forward.
It is evident that the Premier League club are keen to bolster their options in attack, with Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo also said to be of interest (TBR Football).
In other Aston Villa news, this player could be headed in the other direction in the January transfer window.
