Jamie Carragher predicts Aston Villa v Fulham and Liverpool v Chelsea
Jamie Carragher has backed Aston Villa to beat Fulham in the Premier League at Craven Cottage on 19 October.
The Villans are set to take on Marco Silva’s team away from home, with Carragher predicting that it will finish 2-1 to the Villans.
In another mouthwatering tie in the Premier League, Carragher has backed Liverpool to beat Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield on 20 October.

Carragher could be on to something with his prediction, with both Villa and Fulham not at their best defensively this season.
Unai Emery has worked wonders at Villa Park; however, the Spanish manager has been unable to solidify the backline this season, having kept just one clean sheet in the league so far.
On the other hand, Fulham have had similar challenges, having conceded eight league goals so far.
Therefore, what will determine the game will be the attacking talent on display, and Villa have the personnel to hurt any team in world football.
Ollie Watkins has been leading the line for Emery for some time now, but Jhon Duran has also been knocking on the door, showcasing his quality off the bench.
As for Fulham, Raul Jimenez is their top scorer, and while the Mexican has revived his career somewhat, the 33-year-old’s best days are behind him.
It would be no surprise to see Villa continue their quality start to the season with another win here.
