Meanwhile, TBR has reported that Barcelona, Bayern Munich and PSG made enquiries for the striker before his contract extension.
Aston Villa considered summer sale of Jhon Duran

The Colombian displayed glimpses of his talent in his first full season at the club, scoring eight goals in 37 games in all competitions.
Nevertheless, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery considered selling Duran in the summer amidst concerns about the player’s attitude, as per TBR.
The outlet reported that the Birmingham-based club even slapped a £50 million price tag on him.
Duran, though, has emerged as a key player for Villa this season, averaging a goal every 54 minutes.

The youngster has only started one game for Emery’s side this term, but is pushing for a regular place in the first XI with his blistering form.
Duran’s form is also bad news for his suitors like Barcelona and Bayern Munich as it is likely to see his value skyrocket, especially since the player has penned a fresh contract at Villa.
In other Aston Villa news, Bryan King reckons Duran will be earning as much as Ollie Watkins after signing a new deal.
