Digne has been famed for his attacking displays at Villa Park but was defensively sound for Les Bleus on Monday night (9 September).
This saw the left back make four clearances and three recoveries throughout while also winning three duels.
It was a successful return to international for the Villa star who has done well so far to keep new signing Ian Maatsen out of Emery’s starting XI.
