Aston Villa star Lucas Digne showed his class on his return to the France squad with a top performance against Belgium on Monday 9 September.
Didier Deschamps’ side continued their Nations League campaign at home to the Red Devils and were able to secure a 2-0 win.
Thanks to goals from Randal Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembele, Les Bleus confirmed their first win in this international break.

Digne featured from the start at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in his first showing for his country since June 2022.
This recognition was no more than the 31-year-old deserves given his form over the past year which has helped the Villans to Champions League football.
Under the stewardship of Unai Emery, the fullback has gone from strength to strength and helped reinstate himself in the France national side.
He made his return count with 74 touches throughout his 90-minute showing, allowing him to make 48 passes with a 92 per cent accuracy [FotMob].
The former Everton man was able to make six passes into the final third, as 67 per cent of his long balls reached their target successfully.
Digne has been famed for his attacking displays at Villa Park but was defensively sound for Les Bleus on Monday night (9 September).
This saw the left back make four clearances and three recoveries throughout while also winning three duels.
It was a successful return to international for the Villa star who has done well so far to keep new signing Ian Maatsen out of Emery’s starting XI.
