Unai Emery reacts after new Emi Buendia injury development at Aston Villa
Bryan King has insisted that Unai Emery will be happy to have Emi Buendia back available for Aston Villa ahead of the new season.
The ex-Villa scout admitted that with a big season coming up in the Premier League and Champions League, Emery will need every player ready for him.
Buendia was described as “Fantastic” by Emery as he made his return in the pre-season defeat against Columbus Crew
“It’s always going to be a boost for a club like Aston Villa,” he exclusively told Villa News.
“They’ve got a big season coming up, Champions League, so you need all of the quality you can have in the club.
“If he is going to be fit, I’m sure that Emery will be happy with him as a squad player, that is for sure.”

Despite the joy of Champions League football at Villa Park, there has to be a realisation that things will only get harder, as Newcastle found out last season.
The added pressure of more games against big opposition could take its toll eventually, so having that strong squad depth will be key.
Buendia is somewhat forgotten after his long-term absence, but he will be raring to go out and prove himself once again under Emery.
