Kosta Nedeljkovic tipped for Aston Villa greatness as Matty Cash comparison made
Ty Bracey has praised Kosta Nedeljkovic for his Aston Villa preseason performances and has compared him to Matty Cash.
The Serbia youth international joined the Villans in January from Red Star Belgrade but returned on loan for the rest of the season.
The 18-year-old has now featured for Villa in preseason clashes against Walsall and Spartak Trnava.
Villa podcaster Bracey has been left impressed by the right back and has made a comparison to Cash ahead of the season beginning.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “He looks good, he looks strong and he looks fast.
“We haven’t played anybody of a matching level to us so it is tough. I’d be interested to see how he performs when we go toe-to-toe with a bigger side.
“I think he’s going to be a great player for us. He has different attributes to Matty Cash so it is difficult to make a direct comparison.
“I think he brings pace and strength which looked really good but they aren’t the same type of player. I’ve liked what I’ve seen of Nedeljkovic and can’t wait to see more.“

His signing certainly came as a surprise in January but his performances to begin preseason have proven why Monchi went after him.
In the friendly win against Walsall, Morgan Rogers was a standout, but supporters were left excited by the 18-year-old’s combination with Leon Bailey.
His competition to start the Premier League campaign in the starting XI will largely be Cash, who came under some scrutiny last season.
This regularly saw Ezri Konsa start at full-back ahead of the Poland international, which almost summed up his performances.
Nedeljkovic will offer stern competition and has plenty of room to grow and improve under Unai Emery for years to come.
